There are a variety of arguments that are made against divestment as a tactic for achieving change. Some arguments are fallacious, others specious, and some mere attempts to avoid the real issues. Many of them seem logical but are mere covers for maintaining the status quo. We call these ‘Non-Issues’ and we have grouped them here accordingly. For the real issues, please see “The Issues“.
To be fair, however, some are good ideas that should be pursued in addition to divestment, but not as an alternative to it.
